Egypt's Constitutional Draft in English, Plus More Analysis

International IDEA has produced an unofficial English translation of Egypt's new constitutional draft. You can download a version from constitution.net, or Blogger Zeinobia has posted a Scribd version.

For analysis, I've already noted Khalil al-Anani's piece for MEI. Nathan Brown and Michele Dunne analyze it for the Carnegie Endowment, and Bassem Sabry does the same for Al-Monitor. With all that top-rate analysis out there, you'll  be in good hands. I'll chip in with my two piastres eventually, but for now I refer you to these folks. All are great on Egypt, and Nathan is a specialist on constitutions, of course.
